Kelantan has reported 35 tuberculosis (TB) deaths in just seven months, with 636 cases recorded between January and July. The majority were detected in Kota Bharu, followed by Pasir Mas and Tumpat.
High-risk groups include the elderly, smokers, and those with diabetes, highlighting the urgent need for awareness and early intervention.
At DocTok, we believe TB remains one of the most underestimated threats in public health but with consistent screening, timely treatment, and community education, lives can be saved.
